- Nanotechnology
Your mission
As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and implement software solutions in domains such as embedded systems, backend development, or system-level integration. You’ll contribute to the architecture and long-term technical quality of our software, collaborating closely with colleagues from hardware, DevOps, and systems engineering.
- Design, code, and deploy critical back end services and control logic in C++ and Python for high-mix, low-volume electron beam lithography equipment EBPG product line
- Solid understanding of software design and architectural principles (e.g., modularization, separation of concerns, abstraction, and interface design)
- Experience developing and testing software in Linux-based environments, with familiarity with common build, debugging, and profiling tools
- Drive seamless integration between back-end software, embedded device control, and complex hardware, ensure verification and validation
- Partner directly with system, mechanical, electrical, and validation engineers to translate complex multi-physics requirements into modular software components
- Systematically refactor legacy codebases into modern, scalable, and modular software architectures and execute efficient unit tests, automated integration test suites
- Lead technical design and code reviews, maintaining absolute discipline in code quality, modularity, performance and clear boundaries
- Coach junior engineers in back-end design patterns, C++ or Python best practices, and systematic root cause analysis on high-tech machinery
Your Qualifications
- More than 5 years of hands-on professional software development experience, specializing in back-end architecture and control software using modern C++ and Python
- Proven track record in development, integration, or troubleshooting for semiconductor equipment, electron microscopy, precision robotics, or complex high-mix/low-volume machinery
- Deep mastery of architectural design patterns, API design, multithreading, concurrent systems, and memory management in Linux-based environments
- Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology embedded systems, or a closely related technical field
- Advanced proficiency with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, automated test frameworks, and Linux profiling/debugging tools
- Exceptional analytical skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex hardware-software edge cases under tight operational constraints
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven attitude, capable of challenging assumptions constructively and bridging the gap between software and physical hardware
Why us?
- Work at the forefront of nanofabrication technology, contributing to innovations in research and industry
- A collaborative and supportive team environment
- Diverse personnel development measures and development prospects in a growing global organization
